Jenny and Tim have been involved with accommodation since early 2000’s and in 2011 founded Rylance Homes now specialising in short-medium term accommodation within Brisbane. Starting our initially in the early 2000’s the accommodation we offered was for students – by the room rentals, in conjunction with another (now sold) business of Audio-Visual Hiring equipment. Whilst the students was extremely successful, they then moved onto short term accommodation (before platforms of AirBnB and StayZ even existed in Australia!) with the fully furnished properties returning higher yields with a bit more work. Approaching the last decade we have again shifted the business with a new focus where we currently work within the medium term alternative rentals business. We are the one and only Queensland based business doing this with their main focus!

Our son Billy has recently joined the business with the aim to take over and grow even further! After 8 years in London working in a Global Sales Manager he brings a wealth of experience to the business and we cannot wait to see the direction he takes us. Billy also manages his own dual living property he purchased in London that he manages on the short term market.

Our daughter Meg, although not involved in day-to-day operations given her location in Sydney we are confident she will soon join forces with her brother and return to the greatest state of them all QUEENSLAND!

We also have our Spice Dogs - Chilli and Basil. Black and tan dachshunds, so we know that pets are people too.

What our family offers is a unique opportunity to live as a local in Brisbane via our already established homes for groups of 1-20 people all within the inner city of Brisbane - Kangaroo Point, Auchenflower, Woolloongabba, Greenslopes, Sherwood, Manly, Nundah, Durack... and growing.

We supply the accommodation, maintenance, utilities, furnishing, excellent host status…… all we need you to supply are your groceries and clothes!

Hi Rylance  Homes, Thank you for hosting us and our little dog!!! This is a comfortable, central place to stay. Brisbane city and all the necessities are close by. Traveling bus or car is convenient from this unit. Caitlin from Canada (Tallywood Flat 3).

Awesome two bedroom flat in Auchenflower, with street parking and it's only 1/2 hour walk to the local Toowong Village Shopping Center, it's also close to Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens. Five stars for Tallywood Flat 2. Masaki from Los Angeles, USA  (Tallywood Flat 2).
