If you're looking for position, style, luxury, and special features during your stay in Brisbane, Lambert House is undoubtedly one of the finest homes available. This deceptively spacious property sleeps 15 people comfortably, but can also be rented by individual levels for smaller groups.

Lambert House blends the charm of a classic Queenslander with the comforts of modern living. The upper level, once a landmark home in Kangaroo Point, retains the features Queensland homes are famous for and which are envied by cooler climates—high ceilings, tongue-and-groove walls, polished timber floorboards, and multiple French doors opening to wide verandahs. Ornate fanlights above the doorways complete the timeless architectural style, all contributing to an undeniable “vibe” that makes this home so special.

When the original home was moved to make room for units, the previous owner seized the opportunity to build in under, creating a sleek, contemporary open-plan oasis. From the automated fountain in the foyer to the expansive, tiled entertainment space that flows seamlessly through bifold glass doors to the pool area and a serene Japanese-inspired garden, this lower level is made for relaxed, unforgettable moments. The remote-controlled waterfall, tree lighting, and Vergola all-weather overhead blinds ensure that you can enjoy this space in comfort, no matter the weather.

With ducted air-conditioning throughout, Lambert House offers a luxurious, private retreat in the heart of Brisbane.

Extravagant in style and space. Centrally located.  Stepping into the spacious house is akin to going to a designer showroom – immaculately coordinated and tasteful selection in colours of the furniture to chinaware in the kitchen cabinets. We have enjoyed our stay and wished to spend more time if not for having to rush to catch an early flight. Thank you Jen for having us to stay at your lovely house to end off our holiday with splendour.

This level of the home is a classic Queenslander with private access via the front door, featuring keypad entry for added convenience.

Sleeps 8 people in 5 beds:

  • Room 1: Master bedroom with king bed, remote-controlled wall-mounted TV, large ensuite with a full bath, walk-in robe, and a small deck with washing machine and clothesline
  • Room 2: Queen bed with direct access to the shared bathroom
  • Room 3: Twin king single beds
  • Room 4: Queen bed with direct access to the verandah through 2 sets of French doors fitted with Crimsafe screens

The home features 2 separate lounges, ensuring adults and children can each enjoy their own spaces. The formal lounge is complete with a cozy fireplace, while the informal lounge has a large smart TV for entertainment.

The wrap-around verandahs offer a BBQ, outdoor lounge, and dining settings where you can relax and take in the serene outlook through the branches of a beautiful Poinciana tree. Surprisingly quiet for such an inner-city location, the front deck is the perfect spot to unwind.

LOWER: 2 Bedrooms / 1 Bathroom / 1 Powder Room + Sleeping Alcove Option + POOL!!

Private access to the lower level is available via the side gate with keypad entry. This level offers a more contemporary feel and is designed with entertaining in mind. When you rent this space, you get exclusive access to the pool, inbuilt BBQ, and surrounding outdoor areas.

  • Room 1: Queen bed, door to the bathroom, sliding glass door leading to the patio, and a wall-mounted TV
  • Room 2: Queen bed, with a sliding glass door to the outside
  • Alcove: In the spacious L-shaped lounge, there's a king single bed. A screen is provided for privacy if this area is used for sleeping.

This fully self-contained level enjoys total privacy from the upper and middle floors. The generous living areas open up to the private pool and BBQ area through large bifold doors. The outdoor space is perfect for entertaining, featuring an outdoor dining setting for 8 and a Japanese-style pathway leading to a peaceful lounge retreat area.

The kitchen is smaller but fully equipped, with a dishwasher, microwave/convection bench top oven, inbuilt convection hotplates.

Note: Preference is given to whole home rentals.

Converted Triple Garage - Extra Living Space

This level was originally a triple garage and has been transformed into versatile extra living spaces that can be used in conjunction with either the upper or lower levels. The double garage is now a spacious rumpus room, perfect for games and entertainment, featuring a large screen TV for DVDs and games consoles, and a split system air conditioning unit for comfort. In the larger section of the room, you'll find a queen bed and 2 twin single lounge seats. This space opens onto the single lock-up garage with remote control access.
Note: When renting the middle level with the lower level, the lock-up garage is reserved for guests on the upper level.

Calendars are accurate, however it’s always worth asking if your preferred property is available, as some bookings are under our Best Fit Policy. This means guests are willing to move to another home, that may even include moving to another property in our Brisbane network.

The home is only 1km from the city centre. You can enjoy the 7min stroll to our city’s free river ferry called the City Hopper which will take you to 6 inner city stops including South Bank, or take advantage of our new pedestrian bridge directly to Botanical Gardens, can keep on trekking to appreciate Brisbane’s most popular and scenic walk around the Kangaroo Point cliffs, have a paddle in a hire kayak, continue on past our top riverside inner city eateries and finish with coffee in the Botanical Gardens cafe.

PARKING: There is offstreet parking for 4 cars total, 2x upper and 2x lower. Upper has the lock up remote control single garage and the tandem park on the driveway behind it. Lower level has 2 spaces on the driveway apron.

DISPOSABLES:  We supply a few starter disposables as a complementary service. These are not renewed during your stay.

LINEN: The linen package includes - sheets, pillow slips, bath towels, face washers, hand towels, bathmats, tea towels. If you choose to supply your own..... we will supply you with pillows, pillow/mattress protectors, doonas, blankets at no extra charge.

SERVICING: If you would like to engage our cleaners for linen change or house clean during a longer stay, please ask for a quote. All homes include washing facilities, some basic cleaning products, vacuum, broom, mop, dustpan. Full laundry with front loader washer, dryer, iron and ironing board.

PETS: We can't say we are a family friendly business if we dont include your pets. We do have conditions of course, please ask for more information. Sorry, but no pets in season or excessive hair shedders. Not permitted in the carpeted areas nor on furniture. YOU MUST CLEAN UP AFTER THEM!
